Leadership from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Region 1 and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) visited Lake Success on October 14, 2025 to review progress and discuss final actions for cleanup completion expected in 2026. All participants were impressed with the natural beauty of the 419-acre site and were excited to hear about the future plans as a park for local residents and New England visitors.
